EXTERIOR WIRELESS MOTION SENSOR - Drive-way Alarm

This very popular and ingenious unit is a must for people that need a little early warning of human or vehicular motion around their property. Supplied as a kit, this system is childs play to install and saves you time and money running cables and drilling holes.
The Drive-way Alarm consists of a weather-proof, battery powered transmitter (on the left in the picture) and a small mains receiver unit. Place a 9 volt PP3 battery in the transmitter unit (expected battery life 6-12 months) and site the transmitter on a tree, wall or fencepost (like in the line drawing). The transmitter sends out an invisible beam with approximately 80 feet detection range - this beam can be pointed in any direction because there is no reflector needed at the other end - and if a vehicle or person enters the beam zone, the transmitter will send a radio signal up to 500 feet back to the receiver. The receiver, sited in a house or occupied building, will emit an alarm tone for 3 seconds. The receiver will then reset itself for the next trigger.
The transmitter is not activated by the motion
of trees or shrubs, but will be triggered by animals, which is why we suggest that it be
mounted at least 3 feet off the ground to eliminate triggers from small animals.

FRICTION-LOCK EXPANDABLE BATONS

These are high quality, ASP type batons. The steel batons are telescopic friction lock batons which fold down into a small, convenient, cylindrical mass which is a little longer then a biro - but a flick of the wrist extends (and locks) the baton out to its full length.
